The bees in our apiary enjoy a wealth of pollen and nectar from the flowering trees and gardens of our quiet suburban neighborhood, including the diverse native wildflowers of High School Park.
The pure, raw honey is harvested from our hives in spring and summer. We extract and double-filter the honey with dedicated equipment, then immediately bottle it - we never heat or process the honey in any other way. This ensures that all of the beneficial minerals, enzymes, pollen and propolis remain in the honey.
Local raw honey will differ in flavor - from hive to hive, town to town, and season to season - depending on the availability of pollen and nectar from flowers and trees in the area at different times of year. This is why every bottle of honey we sell will have the unique flavor of our neighborhood and a moment in time.
We are proud and excited to share our delicious honey with you, and hope that you enjoy it in sweetness and good health!
